About
About.
Earnest Entertainment is a full-service, independent production company based in Victoria, BC. We're grateful to conduct our work as visitors on the traditional, unceded territory of the Lekwungen People.
By bringing together the best film and post-production crews on Vancouver Island, we tell stories that are daring and authentic, resulting in unforgettable, high-quality content.
What's the importance of being 'earnest'? It is our superpower. It's the sincere conviction that we bring to each project allowing us to cut through the sensationalism that we often see in today's media and create content with impact.
Deeply committed to the craft of storytelling, we look to tell the diverse stories of the island our company calls home and work hard to establish a deep understanding of our subject matter, building trust with those who have allowed us to share their tale.
Earnest Entertainment is founded by Tara-Lee Novak, an industry veteran who has created content for Canada's major networks including CBC, Global, Knowledge Network and APTN.
